The Miracle on Kansas Avenue parade will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011. The parade begins at 6:00 pm ~ staging area will open at 4:00 pm. The community Christmas Tree will be lit at 5:30 pm in at 818 S. Kansas Avenue. The Capital City Crushers Women’s Roller Derby team and the Chick Whips Jr Roller Derby team will be attending and passing out our schedules and candy!
All parade entries in this annual extravaganza are lighted to bring that special holiday glow to Downtown. Walkers along the sides of the parade will have candy for the kids, and Santa Claus will make the opening of the holiday season official.
