Community Events

The Capital City Crushers are always looking for events where they can lend a hand and make a difference. Here are the latest happenings around town.

The Capital City Crushers roller girls took part in the March of Dimes “March for Babies” that was held in Topeka in and around Gage Park and in the Topeka Zoological Park on April 29th.

We were proud to be the banners bearers for such a great cause. Being able to represent both our organization and the March of Dimes was an honor as well as excellent fun. The Crushers Thank Ice Cold #32F and Ms Goodie 2 Sk8s #5 for all that went into coordination the Crusher’s part in this event.

Some of the skaters on hand were Black Pixie #08, Deck-HER #629, KappAchino Blast #3:16, Lil Bit #00, Bruisin Bourbon #125, Love Tap #92, Miranda T. Reaver #242, Raia effing sunshine! #75 Watts, Seam Rip-Her #34 and Schizo #187. We would also like to thank Samantha, Andrea, Tammy, Scotty, William, Luna, Nicholas, Rick and so much more who came out and skated or supported the cause!
