CCC Plays For Redemption


The Crushers lost a heart breaker to Springfield Roller Derby on April 13th. Come cheer us on as we fight for redemption against both the Springfield Roller Derby All-Stars and their B team, the Battle Broads on June 8, 2019. Doors open at 5:30pm, first game will start at 6pm. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

All of our home games take place at Sk8away, Inc, located at 815 SW Fairlawn in Topeka, KS. Hope to see you there!

CCC triumphs over ICT


For the first time in team history, the Capital City Crushers won our battle against the ICT All-Stars from Wichita, KS. This bout was a back and forth nail biter and after numerous lead changes CCC ended up coming out on top 153-149.

CCC Wins 2019 Season Opener

CCC had our 2019 season opener on March 2, 2019 against Tulsa Elite from Tulsa Oklahoma. CCC played this game with 9 players while Tulsa had a full roster. Even though the numbers were against them, The Crushers played hard, kept cool heads and had a zen bench. End the end, CCC prevailed 248-110. Congratulations to Cursula and Goose Ya, who were awarded MVP Blocker and MVP Jammer for this game!

The Capital City Crushers Joins Women’s Flat Track Derby Association 

AUSTIN, TEXAS – The Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) is proud to announce today that The Capital City Crushers have been accepted as a full member of the WFTDA, the international governing body for the sport of women’s flat track roller derby and a member organization for leagues to collaborate and network. As a new member of the WFTDA, the Capital City Crushers join the ranks of over 400 all-female, skater-owned-and-operated leagues worldwide that have united to lead the sport of women's flat track roller derby. After successfully completing the WFTDA Apprentice Program, they can now enjoy the benefits of full WFTDA membership, including the ability to compete in sanctioned games that qualify for WFTDA ranking.The Capital City Crushers will begin their WFTDA membership a Class C member.
